Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Team Lead to join our team at RCM Centric. The Operations Team Lead will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our billing department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of billing specialists to achieve performance targets and KPIs.
  • Workflow Management: Monitor and manage daily workflow to ensure timely and accurate processing of medical claims and invoices.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve escalated issues or disputes with clients, payers, or internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and refine billing processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and fostering positive relationships.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to medical billing and revenue cycle management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, productivity, and key metrics to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management, with at least [X] years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing processes, coding principles, and payer requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
